🇵🇹 Part of Portugal Tech Week

Viana do Castelo Tech Day is back this year for an even bigger, more special edition: two workshops, two panels, and the classic Elevator Pitch at Elevador de Santa Luzia.

Are you a student, do you work in tech or business, are you already a founder, or do you just have an idea you want to bring to life? This is your day.

🔧 Two workshops in the morning, with Cooperativa Tecnológica and Viana Starts.

🚡 Pitch Elevator, from 2pm to 5pm, at the century-old Elevador de Santa Luzia. Entrepreneurs pitch their projects to a jury of investors and industry professionals.
Submit your idea here.

🎙️ Afternoon Panel, "After the Elevator: What Happened to the Ideas," running alongside the Pitch.

🏆 Closing Session: "From Viana to the Market"

How do you scale a business starting from a small city? In this closing session, we bring together founders, investors, and people with first-hand experience growing companies beyond Viana do Castelo to talk about proximity, ambition, and what it really takes to grow from here.

🟡 Who is this session for?

This conversation is for anyone building something in tech or business, from founders and investors to students, professionals, and the local community.

🎤 Speakers

Guiding the conversation is Jerusa Lopes, from Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo, who knows better than most what it takes to build an innovation ecosystem in Viana.

Then, three perspectives:

Miguel Oliveira, our CEO, brings the story of a company born in Viana do Castelo and the path it took to grow beyond its local context.
Alexandra Cooke, from Association for Competitive Technology, brings an outside view: what small-city ecosystems can learn from the startup communities she works with around the world.
João Moreira, on the other end of the journey: what changes when a startup goes from founding team to acquisition, and what he looks for now as an advisor and investor.

Followed by the Pitch Battle awards ceremony and a networking moment to close the day.

🎟️ Free participation, limited spots.
