Osasu currently leads the development of ML-powered transaction labelling systems at Esusu, a US-based financial inclusion company, where his work surfaces consumer rent patterns that inform credit decisions for underserved borrowers. He is an award-winning AI researcher and winner of the Best Paper Award at the 2024 IEEE ICETAS for his research on parameter-efficient fine-tuning of protein language models for remote homology detection. His experience spans fintech, healthtech, and computational biology, and he has authored four peer-reviewed publications across IEEE, ETASR, IJDATS, and NIPES.
