Sohbet After Sunset: The Intergenerational Soiree You Don't Want to Miss
In Turkish, a sohbet is a warm, unhurried conversation among friends, the kind of exchange that builds real understanding rather than just filling time. Lasting climate progress depends on young leaders and the more established leaders who came before them, having real room to connect, not just to meet, but to build the kind of trust and mutual respect that turns a single conversation into a true partnership.
Taking place on COP31's official Children, Youth, Education and Skills Day, our Intergenerational Soiree is built around that exchange. It brings together our community of climate leaders, across generations and backgrounds, to spotlight some of their work and create space for the relationship-building that carries our movement forward together, long after COP31 ends.
The evening will include cultural programming, music and dance, plant-based hors d'oeuvres, and remarks from some of our partners.
