Archaic Reckoner is Reckoner and archaic.tech
Reckoner is a New York-based computer-songwriter project by Sumanth Srinivasan. Drawing from krautrock, trip hop and glitch, his music is a fusion of live sampling, guitar, live coded rhythms and melodic vocals. Reckoner has released a full length album, several EPs and performs regularly in New York.
archaic.tech is Matthew Kaney, a a performer and technologist interested in synthesizers, MIDI and web-based tools for creative expression. He’s previously worked with video games, animation, electronic sculpture and a small bit of theatrical light and sound design. In addition to performing music and visuals, his current focus is developing new tools for live coding and electronic music.
Jack Verlaine is a dark folk outsider artist exploring themes of transformation and liminality.
Solomon Underwood is a Brooklyn-based musician and artist originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico. His music draws inspiration from Delta and country blues artists such as Mississippi John Hurt, Skip James, and Elizabeth Cotten, as well as more recent artists who share similar influences, like Gregory Isakov and Gillian Welch.
With much appreciation for roots music; Solomon is drawn to the enduring themes of grief, loss, hopelessness, and love. He aims to honor and help preserve the music that inspires him while blending those influences with his own voice and life experiences.
Born in India, Aseem Suri is a Brooklyn based musician and new media artist. This acoustic performance strips back the texturized electronic layers of their projects to share a songwriting practice rooted in memory, nostalgia, love and loss.
Indira Ardolic (voyde) is a New York-based live-coding artist, creative technologist, and experimental performer whose work blends game engines, real-time programming, sound, and immersive visuals. She is associated with the live-coding collective LiveCode.NYC, a group dedicated to performance practices where artists generate music and visuals by writing code live in front of audiences.
