About Event

We’re excited to welcome you to the next Munich Hardware Meetup!

This time, we’ll hear two talks covering very different sides of hardware building: one from the perspective of a first-time founder in the energy sector and one on the journey from early prototyping to real hardware production.

It will be an evening of honest lessons, practical insights and networking with fellow founders, engineers and hardware people in Munich.

Guest speakers

Michael Masnitza
Talk: FuckUp Night: Hardware in the Energy Sector – A Masochist First-Time Founder Story

Michael Masnitza co-founded ChargeX as COO in 2018. With a background in energy science and engineering, he leads a team of 20 working to make every parking lot a charging space.

In his talk, Michael will share the realities, mistakes, and lessons of building a hardware startup in the energy sector.

About ChargeX
ChargeX develops intelligent EV charging solutions that address grid limitations and the shortage of skilled charging technicians. Its patented charging system, Aqueduct, together with the Drop Power Sharing App, has already been used by more than 700 customers across 4,500+ installed charging points.

Tekant Gündoğan
Talk: From Arduino to Hardware Production

Tekant Gündoğan is Head of Engineering at Neuronic, where he leads engineering across software, firmware, electronics coordination, manufacturing and product delivery.

In his talk, he will share how hardware products move from early prototypes to production, and what it takes to solve problems across disciplines in a startup environment.

About Neuronic
Neuronic is a US-based photobiomodulation company developing non-invasive devices for cognitive well-being.
