🦋 Field Notes: Specimen Sketch Night
A cozy night for sketching the tiny weirdness of nature. 🌿✏️
Join natural science illustrator Trenton Jung for Field Notes: Specimen Sketch Night, an indoor nature journaling workshop in the Solar Lounge where we’ll slow down, observe real natural specimens, and translate what we notice into sketches and field notes.
Trenton will bring natural specimens for us to study, and you’ll be guided through approachable ways to look closely, sketch organic forms, and capture small details through drawing and notes.
This is not a technical drawing class or a perfection test. It’s a low-pressure evening for anyone who wants to practice noticing, make marks with curiosity, and spend time with the textures, shapes, and quiet weirdness of the natural world.
