Make an Amulet Bag Charm
Are you a fan of trinkets and plush charms? Join us for a fun evening learning how to make your own personalized upcycled scrap fabric amulet.
No prior sewing or embroidery experience is required to attend — we'll cover hand sewing basics and simple embroidery techniques such as running stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, and lazy daisy stitch, as well as simple embellishment techniques such as sewing on beads, buttons and sequins.
We’ll also show you how to attach a keychain to your amulet so you can leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind charm you can attach to a bag or phone.
Sewing and embellishment materials and keychains will be provided, but if you have any of your own scrap material you want to upcycle into your own personal amulet, please feel free to bring it along!
