Charles Csuri: How a New Medium Takes Shape
ART VOICES | Live Conversation
How does a new artistic medium take shape, and what does it mean to preserve its legacy?
Join us for a live conversation exploring the pioneering work of Charles Csuri, whose experiments with computers in the 1960s helped establish a new language for artistic expression.
Together with Caroline Csuri and Leyla Fakhr, we’ll explore the early days of computer art, the relationship between artistic experimentation and technology, and how Csuri’s work continues to resonate with contemporary artists and institutions.
