The Hooks & Books Club Chapter Three: The Haunting

​The Hooks & Books Club invites you to Chapter Three: The Haunting!

​This month's read: Tender is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica.

​This book is a grim dystopian horror which tackles themes of capitalism, hypocrisy, and cruelty.

​Book club will involve a guided discussion around these themes, the plot and characters, as well as any other topics that come up while reading. You don't have to finish the book to attend (however, there will be spoilers, so you have been forewarned!) It will be a lovely evening of book talk and meeting new people :) You are also welcome to bring a crafty project to work on while you listen.

​This month’s we will be at the stunning Gulliam Coffee House so you will be able to get a coffee, matcha and a pastry when you’re there! Staff will be on site to assist with your orders same as last time.

​Please arrive from 3:30pm onwards, and we will start promptly at 4:00pm.

​We will also be taking pictures and videos of the event, however, if you don't want to be in them, please let me know at the start and we will make sure you aren't in the shot!

​REFUNDS: tickets can only be refunded up to one week before the event to ensure venue hire costs are covered or if you are able to find a suitable replacement.
