Climate Week NYC, UNGA - Shared Prosperity in Bhutan: Drinchengang Regenerative Village (DRV) Workshop
What happens when you dare to ask how a nation state could evolve its design?
This NY Climate Week, TTI is hosting a breakthrough UNGA event with the Drinchengang Regenerative Village (DRV) of Bhutan.
The DRV is a pioneering initiative by Bhutan and its life-affirming economic model, as articulated in its Gross National Happiness (GNH) and His Majesty's vision.
Our participants will get to share their views with Bhutan's DRV about:
🌱 Regenerative development solutions
How can we maintain certain traditional aspects of culture, like architecture and rituals, while promoting sustainable livelihoods through local commerce and experiential tourism?
🏡 Decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN)
How can housing, energy, mobile, internet, and digital governance be designed to ensure fractional ownership and shared prosperity?
💸 Regenerative and decentralized investment structure (ReDeFi)
How can we leverage blended finance to safeguard the commons, enable new forms of investment and build lasting capacity?
This UNGA event is taking place on September 23rd at 8-10 AM in a private venue on Park Avenue, Midtown.
