About Event

Hosted by L Marks, this online fundraising workshop with Sean Csantini, Founder and CEO of Bluerock Partners and an L Marks mentor, walks through how venture capital investors assess early-stage startups, from the strength of the opportunity and early traction to the team’s ability to execute. Sean has spent his career on the side of the table that says no, working on $800M of VC, M&A and IPO deals at Barclays, Société Générale and Clairfield International.

Designed for founders preparing to raise a Seed or Series A round, the session covers what investors decide in the first 90 seconds of a pitch deck, how to size a market bottom-up, what belongs in your financial model at each stage, and the due diligence questions that stall rounds late. It closes with a live teardown, where you can bring one slide, metric or market size for Sean to review cold.

L Marks is a corporate innovation specialist that has run more than 130 programmes, with over 500 alumni companies across 81 countries.

Online via Zoom, 18th November
