Reverse Pitch Event: Investors Pitch to Tech Founders
Thinking about raising investment? Hear directly from active investors about what they look for, how they assess opportunities and what helps a business stand out.
Raising investment can be difficult when expectations are unclear. At our Reverse Pitch, the format is switched around. Now the investors pitch to founders.
They will explain how they make decisions, which businesses they back and what they want to see before funding.
You’ll hear from different investors: Barclays, FSE Group, Gresham House Ventures, Henley Business Angels, Maven, Oxx and YFM.
They’ll explain their investment criteria, decision process and give practical advice on how to succeed. There will also be plenty of time for audience questions and networking.
You’ll leave with a clearer view of:
• how different funding routes compare
• what investors want to see before a first meeting
• how to strengthen your pitch and funding plan
• which investors may be relevant for your stage of growth
• who to continue conversations with after the event
The session is limited to 40 local tech business leaders to keep discussions useful and practical. One place per company.
If you’re planning to raise investment in the next few years, book your place and bring your questions.
The event is free but you must be a Reading Tech Cluster member.
