Climate Careers and Clean Energy Futures
Climate Careers & Clean Energy Futures is a San Diego Climate Week event designed to connect students, job seekers, and professionals with opportunities in the rapidly expanding climate economy. This combined panel + career fair convenes employers, policymakers, training providers, and community organizations to showcase pathways into clean energy, skilled trades, climate tech, and public sector roles. The event is brought to our community through collaboration with the UC San Diego Horizon at the Office of Innovation and Commercialization.
Purpose
Highlight climate‑aligned careers as engines of economic opportunity, community resilience, and regional innovation.
Expand equitable access to training, apprenticeships, and job pathways across San Diego County.
Strengthen pipelines between employers and emerging talent, supporting workforce needs in clean energy and climate‑related sectors.
