This week, we are joined by Kim Butts Pauly, one of the leading researchers in the field of transcranial ultrasound stimulation, to discuss the future of tFUS neuromodulation. All experience levels welcome!
Dr. Pauly is a Professor in the Department of Radiology at Stanford with courtesy appointments in Electrical Engineering and Bioengineering. She is also the current director of the Radiological Sciences Laboratory. Her current research interests focus on transcranial ultrasound stimulation.
About tFUS:
Transcranial focused ultrasound (tFUS) is the most promising non-invasive brain stimulation technology. It has been shown to safely modulate brain function at millimeter resolution, even in deep brain regions.
