About Event

As India prepares to host the AI Impact Summit in February 2026, it offers an important opportunity to highlight how the country is leveraging AI to advance inclusion from government-led initiatives like BHASHINI and UMANG to private innovations focused on accessibility and affordability.

This roundtable will bring together stakeholders from government, industry, civil society, think tanks and academia to discuss India’s experience in deploying AI for inclusion. It will explore effective approaches to date, identify gaps and constraints, and draw lessons from implementation experience. It will also examine the policy measures required to ensure AI benefits all communities, the data and infrastructure needed to build solutions at scale, and the potential of multimodal tools to address barriers relating to language, literacy, connectivity, and access.
