βCeramics Workshop with Studo Plonbir: Fruits & Veggies
Hosted in partnership with Julia Kushnarenko
βπStudio Plombir | 6 Rue des Brasseurs, Brussels
π June 14, 2026
π 12:30 - 15:00
βSpring is the perfect moment to slow down, work with your hands, and spend a few hours immersed in clay. β¨
βCreatives will experiment with the playful language of fruits and vegetables β from a lemon-shaped jewellery box to a pumpkin cup or a tomato bowl. Their natural imperfections and expressive shapes make them an inspiring starting point for creation. Organic forms, textured surfaces, and bold silhouettes will guide the process, allowing each piece to develop its own personality.
βπYour ticket includes:
βAll clay and hand-building materials
βGuidance through shaping and decorating techniques
βCeramic paints (engobes)
βFiring of your finished piece in the studio kiln
βTea and coffee served during the workshop
βOnce the pieces are formed, each creative will decorate their work using ceramic paints (engobes), adding colour, depth, and character. By the end of the workshop, you will have created a unique ceramic piece, ready to be fired in the studio kiln.
βNo previous experience with clay is required. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and designed to offer space for creativity, conversation, and the simple pleasure of making something by hand.
βYour pieces will be ready within 3β4 weeks, as they undergo two firings to ensure they are fully finished and food-safe.
βThe workshop is led by Belgian artist Julia Kushnarenko, in her studio Plombir, located in the heart of Brussels. Julia has been working with clay for over six years and continuously develops her multidisciplinary practice, often combining ceramics with film and performance.
