​Whether you run your own business, lead a team, or simply want to feel more confident when discussing financials, understanding a P&L (Profit & Loss) statement is a powerful tool. In this session, we'll break down the core components of a P&L (revenue, margins, operating costs, and profitability) and discuss how they connect to real decisions leaders make every day.

​Samantha Cox is a seasoned finance and strategy leader with a passion for helping businesses achieve sustainable growth. Currently CFO of Back to the Roots and the founder of Rally Consulting, she works with companies of all stages to optimize processes, align operations with strategic goals, and deliver measurable results. Samantha takes a thoughtful, collaborative approach to deeply understand her clients’ businesses, uncover opportunities, and implement impactful solutions. Drawing on her experience in corporate leadership roles at Bolthouse Farms, Planterra Foods, and Kraft Heinz, as well as her foundation in finance from investment banking at Morgan Stanley, Samantha brings both strategic vision and practical expertise to support leadership teams. She holds a B.S. in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
