About Change Is Us (CIU)
CIU is a youth-led community tackling marine and plastic pollution since 2019. Over 290+ weeks, our 90,000+ volunteers have cleared more than 9,00,000 kg of garbage from Mumbai's coastlines while driving vital environmental awareness.
Instructions to Follow:
Footwear & Attire: Wear athleisure comfortable long clothing and OLD, closed shoes (preferably dark and washable) as they will get dirty. Avoid new or expensive footwear. No jeans or heavy pants.
Hygiene: Volunteers will be given face masks and hand sanitizer. Please carry an extra hand napkin for ease.
Sun Protection: Please wear adequate sunscreen and carry a cap.
Gear: Disposable gloves and clean-up equipment will be provided by the 'Change Is Us' team.
Weather: In case it rains, please carry a windcheater for your convenience.
Hydration: Please carry sufficient water for yourself, preferably in a reusable bottle. Water and ORS will be available for refill at the venue.
Note: This Self Declaration form is mandatory for all individuals who wish to participate in the clean-up drives organized by 'Change Is Us'. This form must be filled completely by every individual prior to arrival at the clean-up location. By filling this form you agree to all terms and conditions.
