The Full Arc of Fundraising: What It Takes to Complete a Fund and Round in the Age of AI
The Full Arc of Fundraising in This Investing Climate: What It Takes to Complete a Fund and Round
Join LaFamilia, Humanize HQ, Libra Leaders, for an intimate evening bringing together Latino founders and investors during National Hispanic Heritage Month.
Latino founders receive under 2% of venture capital. This evening digs into what it actually takes to close a round or a fund in today's climate, and what it looks like to turn identity into a strategic advantage rather than a footnote.
We're pairing two perspectives on stage: an investor currently mid-raise, sharing real-time lessons from the process, and investors who've already closed. The in-process voice gets to ask the questions founders and GPs are actually asking right now, and the room gets an honest answer instead of a highlight reel.
This isn't open networking. We're curating founders in AI, Fintech, and Healthcare who are raising now or will be in the next 6-12 months, alongside active check-writers, angels, VCs, and fund managers investing in or exploring Latino-led companies. If you're in the room, you're either deal flow or you're looking for it.
Format: 30-minute fireside chat followed by a networking happy hour.
When: Thursday, September 17, 2026, 6:00-8:00pm ET
