A professional development session for women leaders ready to move beyond sustainability as compliance.
The leaders who will shape the next decade are not the ones with the best sustainability reports. They are the ones who have fundamentally reconsidered what sustainability means — and built that reconsidering into how they think, decide, and lead.
This 90-minute working session introduces the Reflect-Integrate-Implement framework developed by Restoring Sustainability, offering leaders across sectors a practical and philosophical foundation for embedding ecocentric equity into their organisations. Through a combination of conceptual framing, structured reflection, and guided discussion, participants will encounter three tools from the full methodology: Assumptions Mapping, Worldview Expansion, and the Questions of Care — a decision-making framework designed to be used before any significant project or decision.
Participants leave with the Questions of Care Methodology Guide (available separately for $24), a decision-making framework they can bring to their organisations immediately.
Please note that this session is designed as a space for women leaders, because the qualities most needed for ecological leadership are too often dismissed in mixed rooms. Here, leading from care, relationship, and moral clarity is the starting point, not the exception.
Intended attendees: Mid-career to executive leaders across sectors—including business, nonprofit, government, and finance—who are navigating the gap between sustainability ambition and meaningful institutional change.
Objectives: To expand participants’ understanding of what sustainability leadership can look like beyond compliance and reporting; to introduce a practical framework for ecocentric decision-making; and to offer tools participants can apply immediately in their own contexts.
