Building AI-native software

Agents are just the beginning. Next-generation software will be built from the ground up around LLMs and their capabilities. We're about to rethink most of the basic software design patterns we take for granted today. We'll need to create new abstractions for subagents, very long contexts and memory, dynamic user interface generation, continual learning, and voice input. This talk will cover some early experiments writing AI-native software.

Cache-aware routing models

Reducing token costs is a major focus across companies of varying size. As models, harnesses, and the workflows around them get more mature, the demand for tokens will only increase. Using the absolute frontier models for every query is obviously not necessary, but switching models naively in an agent loop isn't the right answer. In this talk we'll show how to configure routers within your own coding harnesses (i.e Codex, Pi) and how cache-hit rates should be considered alongside model cost / strength.

Give Your Agents a Platform

Agents are new and complex applications that do not have a standardized method of implementation and deployment. Astro is a powerful platform for teams to build, deploy, and manage their agents. We’ll discuss the platform and its capabilities as well as show off how quickly you can get started.

The Designer in the Monorepo: Building Agent Interfaces at Dev Speed

Designers usually live in Figma or a canvas. These days, very few of them get to live in the monorepo, shipping production code alongside engineers at AI companies. This talk is about what changes when the designer is in the codebase building agentic features in real time - the speed, the tradeoffs, the collapse of the design-then-handoff model, and why agent products especially demand designers who can actually ship production approved design work and not just hand off a mockup for someone else to build.

Space is limited. Register today. See you soon!

Note: Doors open at 5:15p. Entry will not be granted prior to that. Thank you for your understanding.
