About Event

What does it actually take to build a startup investors want to back?

For our next Investor Insight Session, we’re welcoming Rayk Reitenbach from IBB Ventures to the JUNI Campus for an open conversation about venture capital, startup building, and the realities of fundraising in Berlin.

IBB Ventures has backed numerous innovative companies from Berlin and beyond. In this session, Rayk will take you behind the scenes of the investment process: What catches an investor’s attention? How do they assess a startup at an early stage? What makes a founder convincing — and what can make an otherwise promising company a pass?

Rather than focusing on theory, the session is designed to give you a practical understanding of how investors think and what you can do to become better prepared for conversations with VCs.

The session is aimed at upcoming founders, researchers, PhD candidates, and early-stage founders who are interested in turning innovative ideas into companies — whether you are just exploring the possibility of founding or already working on your startup.

Bring your questions, your ideas, and your assumptions about venture capital. We’ll challenge them together.
