Join us for a tender afternoon of crafting one-of-a-kind Rosette Ribbons with Ramisha Sattar !
We’ll gather around the table with friends + strangers, choosing from a curated selection of modern & vintage ribbons before transforming them into stunning rosettes, making the everyday worthy of an award <3
All materials included— we'll also have additional embellishments including beads, pins, patches and other crafty goods. Feel free to bring ribbons or trinkets to incorporate in your Rosette from your own collection.
It will be a cozy, communal afternoon— we can’t wait to craft with you! Complimentary bevvies provided, and snacks will be available for purchase.

About Ramisha Sattar:
Ramisha Sattar is a Pakistani American creative director and designer based between Los Angeles, New York, and Dallas. Sattar crafts different worlds through collage art, textiles, printmaking, and animation — and draws inspiration from her South Asian roots, old country music, and the Victorian scrapbooks that she collects. As a self-taught artist with too many muses to count, Sattar merges traditional handmade and analog techniques with digital tools, resulting in a seriously unserious aesthetic.
What can I expect from a project at RecCreate?
Projects are the perfect chance to finally make that thing you saved on tiktok or pinned months ago, where all you have to do is show up! We curate the coolest materials and walk you through it step by step. Naturally, you leave with the sickest me-made piece for yourself or as the sweetest gift. Projects are a great opportunity to try out a new craft without having to invest in all of the materials, alongside other creative humans. These are not highly technical workshops— our emphasis is on craft, self expression and creative empowerment.
As with all RecCreate events, you can expect to go on this journey with a room full of lovely strangers. We’ll offer opportunities for connection throughout our time— encouraging the spirit of the collective. It is (so) much more fun to get to create together.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes at the discretion of RecCreate Collective.
Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
