About Event

​Part of our ongoing Climate Connections workshop series, this community workshop is focused on how to adapt to a changing climate by making connections in your local community to help each other out in times of need.

Through HalifACT, the municipality aims to enhance climate resiliency throughout the region. From investment in renewable energy retrofits or naturalization of municipal spaces, to community-based activities like the Climate Connections workshop series, by improving resiliency now we reduce the cost of resources needed to repair and build due to future impacts.

Pick the workshop location closest to you:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 26 from 6 p.m to 9 p.m at the North Woodside Community Centre

  • Thursday, Nov. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Captain William Spry Recreation Centre. (Click here to register for this event)
