Wine Tasting Evening: Old Vines
Alongside our monthly Region of the Month tasting, we continue our new series of special themed events - each one exploring wine from a different angle.
This time, we’re celebrating Old Vines 🍷
There’s something truly special about vineyards that have stood the test of time. With age comes lower yields, deeper root systems, and often remarkable concentration and character in the wines they produce. From gnarled bush vines to historic plantings that have survived decades (sometimes centuries), we’ll explore why old vines are so highly prized.
We will guide you through a carefully selected line-up showcasing the quality, complexity and personality that mature vineyards can deliver. Expect fascinating stories, a bit of history, plenty of insight, some laughs - and of course, beautiful wines.
We’ll also be serving themed nibbles designed to complement the wines, because no great tasting should happen on an empty stomach.
We aim to serve the first glass at 7pm.
