The Moon Festival is celebrated by millions of families across Asia and around the world — from China’s Mid-Autumn Festival and Korea’s Chuseok, to Japan’s Tsukimi and Vietnam’s Tết Trung Thu.
This September, Growing IVY is bringing these traditions together for a special family celebration in the heart of Burlingame.
We’re grateful to moms from our Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese communities who will help share the stories, traditions, and meaning behind the festival with Bay Area children and families.
Whether the Moon Festival has been part of your family tradition for generations or this is your child’s very first time experiencing it, everyone is welcome.
