IITians after Hours : Lower Haight Bar Crawl
Calling Bay area Indian/ IITian/NITian/ xITian startup-tech community - founders, investors, operators, engineers, or interns to come along for a casual Lower Haight Bar Crawl during SF Tech Week.
Take a break from office, panels, "structured scheduled meetings" and just show up for the community.

Junior, fresh grad, or still a student - don't question if you belong, just show up. Stuck in the messy middle like me, not really "successful," but technically not a failure? Let’s overthink it over a beer.

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Kickoff & Aperitivo @ Stoa (701 Haight St) Kick off with craft cocktails, spritzes, and small bites.
8:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Reminisce @ The Page (298 Divisadero St) Walk around the corner for a classic long bar counter, back pool table, and sidewalk seating to absorb the growing crowd.
10:00 PM – 12:00 AM | AI & Tech Brews @ Noc Noc (557 Haight St) Dorm-room energy, quirky post-apocalyptic cave vibes, and offbeat drafts at a legendary spot that’s been weird since 1986. Time to solve AGI.
12:00 AM – 2:00 AM | Craft Beer Legend @ Toronado (547 Haight St) Right next door. Finish at the legendary historic epicenter of NorCal craft beer.
Open to all IIT/NIT/xIT alumni, tech operators, and friends in the Bay Area.
Important Crawl Notes :
Drop in anytime: Running late from a panel or driving from the suburbs? Just meet us at whichever bar matches the schedule below!
Physical ID Required: Bring a valid physical government-issued ID or passport (digital copies/phone photos won't fly with SF door staff).
Food : Fuel up along the route with slices from Mythic Pizza, tacos from Otra, dumplings from YH-Beijing, or barbecue ribs from Memphis Minnie's to bring right into the dive bars.
Bring Cash: Toronado is strictly cash-only (but I guess, if you are an IIT junior, with any senior present, they must buy you the beer).
Visual Signal : Since it’s an ad-hoc, informal crawl with no formal organizer, look for folks in college hoodies, company fleece vests, or startup tees debating LLM architectures over a pint. If you see a group speaking Hindi/Hinglish or using slang like 'machao' or 'bakar', you might have found us. Walk up and say hi!
