About Event

We're excited to host our 5th Data in Vancouver event!

Join data engineers across Vancouver for a fun night of technical talks from data engineers!

Featuring three technical talks, you will learn about data platforms, ML workloads with Jupyter notebooks, and more!

Our three speakers are:

  • Oleg Agapov, Analytics Engineer at Hive: "Building Efficient Data Platform for Small Teams"

  • Nick Bilozerov, Senior Data Engineer at Stripe: "Scaling up ML workflows with Jupyter Notebooks: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly."

  • Gustavo Fernandes, Data Specialist at AWS: "Modern data stack and data architectures."

This night is about diving deep with technical speakers. Each talk will last 20 minutes, with 10 minutes for questions afterwards.

The goal of this event is to learn and meet other data engineers in the city who are working on solving awesome and cool problems.

Note, this is not for finding a job!

Co-hosted by Artemis and AWS.
