The Rhetoric of the Bow: Workshop with Augusta McKay Lodge

​Join the Harvard Undergraduate Baroque Chamber Orchestra for an afternoon workshop and conversation with violinist Augusta McKay Lodge.

​Juilliard-trained and internationally recognized for her vibrant historically informed performances, Augusta appears regularly as a soloist, chamber musician, director, and concertmaster with leading period ensembles across Europe and North America. She performs frequently as concertmaster of Les Arts Florissants and Voices of Music, and has appeared with ensembles including Juilliard415, the American Classical Orchestra, Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien, and the Jupiter Ensemble. Her performances have taken her to Alice Tully Hall, the BBC Proms at Royal Albert Hall, the Edinburgh Festival, and major early-music festivals throughout Europe and the United States.
