Pieter's relationship with Australia started early. Three years in Perth as a kid left him with an itch to come back that two attempts (a volcanic ash cloud, then COVID) both blocked.
Originally from Amsterdam, he now spends his time as a fractional operator in the climate and impact scene across both continents: leading finance and people ops for ROA (a growing oatm*lk business), project-managing an open-source tool that helps European local governments assess neighbourhoods for climate and ecological risk, and running go-to-market for a foundation scaling biochar and carbon removal.
With years of experience in the Dutch solar and battery storage sector, he'll break down where the Aussie and Dutch climate and impact ecosystems actually diverge.
