Stepping into the Agentic Era: Canada's AI Leadership Conversation

​Toronto Tech Week will have no shortage of AI events.

This is built to be the most valuable part of Toronto Tech Week for leaders who want to understand what AI will actually change inside their company.

The question is no longer whether your team uses AI. They already do. The leadership question is whether your company has a clear operating model for AI: what it can access, where it can take action, who approves the work, and who owns the outcomes.

We are kicking off Toronto Tech Week 2026 with a curated group of CEOs, founders, operators, investors, and AI leaders for one focused evening at Harbour Sixty.

Aaqib Azeem, Global AI and Machine Learning Partner Lead at Google, and a Canadian, is flying in from the U.S. to open this event with a keynote on where enterprise AI is heading and what leaders should be paying attention to now.

From there, the conversation moves from big-picture AI trends into practical leadership questions: adoption, governance, workflow ownership, risk, and the operating muscle required to turn AI from scattered experiments into real company leverage.

Guests will be invited into the conversation through live Q&A, practitioner discussion, and a moderated leadership panel.

This is a private working room for leaders being asked to shape:
- Where AI can safely take action inside a real company
- What should still require human judgment
- Who owns AI when it moves from experiment to operating system
