In Korea, there's a word — '놀이 (Nori)': coming together to enjoy a show, share food and drinks, and lose yourself in the moment. It's the liveliest way to experience Korean culture.
On July 12th, Meari — a Korean Culture Collective — brings that spirit to the heart of Manhattan.
From the deep, haunting tones of the daegeum (Korean bamboo flute) to the elegant movement of Korean contemporary dance, the bold procession of a traditional royal marching band, and a live DJ to heat up the night — the stage flows without pause, between tradition and modernity, while the flavors of Korean food and drink keep pouring.
Off to one side, a K-Beauty pop-up brings you face-to-face with a curated lineup of cosmetic brands straight from Korea.
