About Event

Hosted by Claudia Vicol - Director of engineering at Decathlon

At the start of the year, many organisations were taking a cautious approach to AI: experimenting with new tools, observing the market, and waiting for clearer use cases to emerge. Since then, the pace of change has accelerated significantly. While AI-native companies are rapidly embedding AI into the way they operate, many larger organisations are still working to bridge the gap between experimentation and meaningful enterprise-wide adoption.

This roundtable will explore the gap between AI ambition and AI adoption in large organisations. Together, we will discuss where AI is already delivering measurable value, why many initiatives remain stuck in pilots and proofs of concept, and what it takes to move from isolated experimentation to sustainable operating model change.

Rather than focusing on individual technologies or products, the discussion will examine the leadership, governance, culture, and organisational changes required to scale AI responsibly. We will also explore how organisations can balance innovation with risk, what established businesses can learn from AI-native companies, and what it means to lead confidently in the AI era instead of simply reacting to change.
