Release Recap: CulturalRiddles: A Multicultural Benchmark of Riddles

​Join us for a special recap of CulturalRiddles, an open research project that brought together 6,200 community-written riddles across 51 languages and 62 cultures, contributed by more than 150 collaborators worldwide.

​Julia Kreutzer (Staff Research Scientist, Cohere Labs) will join our project leads: My (Chiffon) Nguyen, Pouya Sadeghi, Tianyi Hu, Henry Gagnier and Akhil Arora, to share the story behind the project, from how a global collaboration came together to why evaluating cultural understanding matters. They’ll walk through the benchmark, highlight key research findings, and discuss what the results reveal about the limitations of today’s AI models!
