BioVentures Training 2026 - Demo Day

​The Nucleate India Bio-Ventures Demo Day is the capstone event of the 2026 Bio-Ventures Training Program — a rigorous three-month curriculum that has trained 8 of India's finest life sciences graduates, PhDs and postdoctoral researchers to operate as venture capital analysts. The Demo Day is where that training becomes public.

​This is not a conventional demo day. The format is structured as a live, public Investment Committee exercise. Seven early-stage biotech startups are each matched with a cohort member four weeks ahead of the event. The startup pitches to their matched analyst — one-on-one, as they would to any early-stage VC. Over the following four weeks, the cohort member independently develops a full Investment Committee memo: their capstone project for the program.

​On Demo Day, startups pitch to the full room and cohort members then present their completed IC memos to an audience of active VC partners and incubators. For VC partners in the audience, the event functions simultaneously as a deal-sourcing forum and a live talent evaluation. There is no interview. You observe the candidate performing actual investment work, under time pressure, in public.
