About Event

Nature-based solutions are increasingly recognized as essential to climate mitigation and resilience, with the potential to deliver up to a third of emissions reductions needed by 2030 while strengthening ecosystems and communities.

But nature is not just a backdrop to these efforts. It can act as a blueprint, shaping how businesses operate, how landscapes are restored, and how people experience the spaces around them.

This conversation will examine what it really means to let nature lead, where this approach is delivering unexpected results, and how projects can move from local pilots to broader impact.

Attendees will hear how technology is supporting the scaling of nature-based solutions and what is needed to build momentum.

Speakers include:

  • Caitlin Hodes, Sustainability Manager, Treasury Wine Estates

  • Ben Wilinsky, Director, Partnerships and Innovation, Arbor Day Foundation

  • Cheryl Margoluis, Executive Director, WWF-CARE Alliance

  • Erin Rovalo, Biomimicry Institute

  • Moderator: Zoe Hall, UCB MCS

By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of SF Climate Week, in addition to Futerra, UC Berkeley's Master of Climate Solutions, and their Solutions House partners.
