Enlightenment Evening: The Growth Agenda
Join us on Thursday, 19th February for a discussion on The Growth Agenda.
We’ll be discussing our radical blueprint to unlock British abundance. We identify 14 specific barriers - from planning restrictions to energy prices - that are strangling wealth creation. If we remove these barriers, the prize is an additional £428 billion for our economy by 2036.
Can Britain recover from years of sclerotic growth? The solution requires more than just tweaks, it requires a total reimagining of the British state’s relationship with the economy. Come and hear how we can dismantle the Vetocracy and jumpstart the path to prosperity.
We’re delighted to be hosting our panellists Alys Denby (Opinions & Features Editor of City AM), Alex Mengden (Economist at the Tax Foundation), Mathew Sim (Senior Policy Advisor at the TBI) and the report’s authors, Jasper Ostle (Head of Research & Education at the ASI) and Mitchell Palmer (Economist at the ASI).
This event will be live-streamed on X, and later uploaded to YouTube for those of you who cannot attend in person.
Doors open at 6:00pm for a sharp 6:30pm start. 20-minute panel discussion followed by 10–15 minutes of Q&A.
