Enlightenment Evening: The Growth Agenda

​ Join us on Thursday, 19th February for a discussion on The Growth Agenda.

​We’ll be discussing our radical blueprint to unlock British abundance. We identify 14 specific barriers - from planning restrictions to energy prices - that are strangling wealth creation. If we remove these barriers, the prize is an additional £428 billion for our economy by 2036.

​Can Britain recover from years of sclerotic growth? The solution requires more than just tweaks, it requires a total reimagining of the British state’s relationship with the economy. Come and hear how we can dismantle the Vetocracy and jumpstart the path to prosperity.

​We’re delighted to be hosting our panellists Alys Denby (Opinions & Features Editor of City AM), Alex Mengden (Economist at the Tax Foundation), Mathew Sim (Senior Policy Advisor at the TBI) and the report’s authors, Jasper Ostle (Head of Research & Education at the ASI) and Mitchell Palmer (Economist at the ASI).

​Doors open at 6:00pm for a sharp 6:30pm start. 20-minute panel discussion followed by 10–15 minutes of Q&A.
