Who it's for
Founders, leadership teams, professionals and operators in startups and scaleups making real hiring decisions. This event is also a great fit for internal recruiters and recruitment firms, but we are designing the session around decision makers in companies.
Who is on the panel
Sales Manager at Vouch
He loves sales, 8+ years of sales experience and more than 5 of them with Start/Scale-ups. Been the second sales hire and now the first sales hire at Vouch.
Head of Marketing at Scalign
Before moving to Oslo last year, she built her career in New York across startups and advertising, working with brands like S&P Global, HexClad, and Mel Robbins. Now, here in Oslo, she is Head of Marketing with Scalign, a platform that turns buyer conversations into direction for scaling B2B teams.
She believes sales and marketing are most successful when they work together, rooted in what the buyer actually cares about.
Prev. Founding Partner and VP Operations, Commercial GTM Consultant with ScaleupXQ, TwentyThree, Jobylon
Madeleine is a serial commercial builder who has built sales functions at almost every stage a company goes through.
She started at Jobylon as part of the founding commercial team — zero to first customers, no playbook. At TwentyThree she built the Norwegian market from scratch, then moved to Copenhagen to bring those learnings back to HQ — and from there was part of the team that expanded the business into North America. Most recently, she was part of the founding team at ScaleupXQ, a GTM consultancy where she worked across the full spectrum: early-stage startups, fast-growing scaleups, and established companies modernizing their commercial operations.
The through-line? Every stage breaks what worked at the previous one. She’s joining this panel to talk about what that actually looks like in practice.
Inclusion & Impact Specialist at Sineke Inclusion Studio
Tumi has worked closely with startups and scaleups within the tech industry, supporting their hiring needs and scaling plans in the role of Account Manager.
Between 2017 and 2021, this work included advisory and consulting services, such as advocacy, strategy development, and hands-on support to help companies better understand gaps in their hiring practices, particularly related to diversity and inclusion.
During this period, Tumi also supported startups and scaleups in developing structured hiring scorecards and competency frameworks, enabling them to establish more repeatable, consistent, and less biased hiring processes. This work helped companies clarify how to start hiring, define relevant competencies, and make more informed hiring decisions as they scaled. In 2021, Tumi began developing a program designed to help companies clarify both what they need to hire and how they hire, with a clear focus on improving inclusion and diversity outcomes.
Today, Tumi works on collecting and developing scaling strategies for startups and scaleups across the Nordics, in collaboration with Umbrella and Splash.
Step up to Scaling
An event series for leaders navigating growth, hiring and culture focusing on real challenges, not theory. Bringing together people from different stages, departments and experience unpack real trade-offs. Each session we will have founders, managers, directors, agency leaders, contractors all chipping in for how that topic looks and moves in this moment.
