About Event

Your imagination is bigger with company. (Pizza included!)

This 90-minute outdoor workshop invites kids and their grown-ups to stretch their imaginations together. Through movement, playful prompts, close looking, and creative exercises, we'll explore the theme of togetherness: who we are with others, what strengthens our connections, and what we might build together. Stay after for pizza!

No physical exercise involved — just a serious workout for your imagination.

📍 Lincoln Park

🎒 If you’re coming with backpacks, we’ll have a monitored area to drop them off.

☔ Rain date: Tuesday, March 24, same time and location.

What is Imagination Boot Camp?

Imagination Boot Camp is an experiential workshop series that treats imagination like a muscle—one that strengthens through practice and grows more powerful in community. We create space for people to exercise their imaginative capacity together: to question assumptions, envision alternatives, and discover that the future is something we can actively shape.

🌀 Looking for an adults-only session? Check out Imagination Boot Camp: Mending (for adults) at the Folger Shakespeare Library on March 25.

Who this is for:

Families with children of all ages who want to play, imagine, and create something together. Kids and grown-ups participate side by side. No experience required, just curiosity and comfortable shoes. Maybe a bottle of water!

This workshop is open to all. If there's something that we can offer to make this more welcoming, we would love to talk to you. Please email us at [email protected]

What you'll gain:

A chance to see your child's imagination in action—and rediscover your own. Concrete practices for imagining together, a shared creative experience shaped by the group, and the particular joy of having played outside with your people.

Who is leading it:

This workshop is led by Isabella Bruno and Marina Gross-Hoy, two museum experience facilitators who believe that imagination is a skill everyone deserves to practice.

Ticket price:

Your $5 ticket covers pizza for the whole group—let's eat together after! You will see Venmo info in the registration confirmation.

Cancellations & refunds:

If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else and plan accordingly for pizza. We will do our best to accommodate a refund.
