Intro to Electronic Music Production

​This workshop will be presented by Raf Reza through a brief presentation and interactive tools to understand the basics of working in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) to produce electronic music. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of beat making, mixing, arrangement techniques and use the hardware and MIDI tools provided to express their ideas.

​Participants may bring their own laptop or an iOS device with Ableton Note, but not mandatory.

​This workshop is FREE and the first 30 participants will receive a Ableton Live discount coupon and all participants will receive a resource document of free tools and lessons to further their creative output.

​About your instructor: Raf Reza is a Toronto based Producer and DJ who has a 15 year career in making music and performing around the world. Raf is also a passionate instructor who has previously volunteered with the TDSB teaching highschool students the basics of recording arts.
