Hosted at TBDC, this event is inspired by Project Droplet, a mission to build sustainable marine technology that makes ocean access greener, more efficient, and available to all.
In this hackathon, you’ll work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, business strategists, and creative thinkers to take on some of the most pressing issues facing our oceans and environment. Whether you’re developing solar-powered boats, exploring kelp farming for biofuel, or designing remote marine monitoring tech, this event is all about fun, collaboration, and out-of-the-box problem-solving.

Dockless Marine Accessibility: Create sustainable, small-boat solutions that can operate without traditional docks.
Solar-Powered Marine Monitoring: Innovate with solar-powered drones to monitor water quality and pollution.
Kelp Farming for Biofuels: Design autonomous systems for kelp cultivation to fuel renewable energy.
Sustainable Marine Transport: Develop low-emission propulsion systems to reduce the environmental impact of short-distance transport.
Panelists, all part of the Project Droplet team, include Karan (Technical Lead, ECOICE), Sid (Technical Lead, Liquid Energy), and Gaurav (Navigational Advisor).
