The Ritual Economy
The Sloane Club and Bench & Barrel invite you to an evening of drinks, conversation and connection on Tuesday 26 May.
We are at an inflection point in how people approach their health. The question is no longer whether wellness works, it is how to find what works for you, and make it last. Not the trend or the reset. The daily practice that truly fits your life, supports your longevity, and compounds over time.
This is a rare evening: five people who have dedicated their careers to that question, in honest conversation, with space for yours too. Elite sport, breathwork, nutrition science, military resilience and corporate wellbeing. Different worlds, one conviction.
The Panel
James Golden, Moderator : Twenty years working with the world's most discerning clients on building a health practice that lasts — and an instinct for the questions that cut through.
Joe Bates : Former UK Special Forces and co-founder of Halen — evidence-based mental health and resilience tools for people who want to perform better and recover smarter.
Natalie Kuhn : Performed worldwide with David Byrne and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs before becoming the first employee of The Class, scaling it into a global fitness movement as Co-CEO. Now, she co-founds HALEN, launching in London (Oct 2026), uniting fitness, breathwork, and contrast therapy, while pursuing ordination as an interfaith minister.
Kate Charter : Founder of Kahāra, a daily ritual drink for calm energy and gut health — born from a personal need for a morning practice that meaningfully changed how she felt.
Nick Stolerman : Kundalini teacher and corporate wellbeing practitioner. Found his daily practice after thirty years in high-pressure leadership. Teaches what he learned the hard way.
Drinks from 6.00pm. Panel and discussion from 6.30pm. Networking to follow.
