About Event

Join us for a conversation series highlighting leaders transforming communities through mission-driven work. This session features Nicole Russell, founder of Autistic Adults NYC, as she shares her journey creating an inclusive, vibrant space for Autistic adults in New York City.

Originally from Austin, Texas, Nicole moved to Brooklyn in 2020 to pursue a degree in Music Composition and Theory at NYU. Midway through her degree, she was diagnosed as Autistic, and upon graduating, she shifted her focus to building community. Through Autistic Adults NYC, Nicole organizes social events, educational programming, and advocacy initiatives, championing a more inclusive and equitable NYC for Autistic adults. A dedicated community builder, speaker, and consultant, Nicole’s creativity flows through all aspects of her work—from organizing innovative events to weaving music and art into community-building efforts.
