Dinner Investigation: Eat First, Accuse Later
SHP invites you to a Dinner Investigation Night: an Indian dinner, a murder mystery case, and two teams trying to solve a crime before their reasoning collapses completely.
This is not immersive theatre.
You are not playing a character.
No acting. No costumes. No awkward roleplay.
You will sit with a team, receive evidence files, choose investigation leads, examine suspect profiles, read messages, compare clues, request hints if your brain starts leaking, and submit your final accusation.
Basically: dinner, clues, suspicious people, and socially acceptable paranoia.
What will happen
When you arrive, we’ll sit down, order from the event menu, and start with dinner and drinks.
After the food arrives, the investigation begins.
You will be split into two teams. Both teams will work on the same murder case, but you will choose which leads to investigate first. You may receive witness statements, police files, social media screenshots, private messages, newspaper articles, receipts, photos, and other suspicious materials.
Your team will need to work out:
Who had a motive?
Who had an alibi?
Who was lying?
Who was just suspicious for aesthetic reasons?
And, finally: who killed the victim?
You can ask for hints during the game, but each hint will cost your team points. Justice is not free. Apparently.
At the end, each team submits their final accusation and explains their theory. Then we reveal the solution and see who actually understood the case and who simply accused the most dramatic person.
