At the Ocean's Edge | A tour of Boston Harbor with Propeller Ventures, Allium Engineering, and Coastal Assembly | Boston Climate Week
Boston has 47 miles of shoreline to manage as our climate changes and our ocean rises. This has the potential to affect some 600,000 residents here.
Our hope is to have an informal tour and discussion of the challenges and opportunities for Boston Harbor (and coastal cities everywhere) amongst innovators, investors, and operators as we enjoy a ferry around the harbor.
This event is limited to 25 people. RSVP required. Please arrive on time as the boat departs at 1PM sharp! Be sure to bring any necessary supplies (layers, sunscreen, water).
Hosted by:
Propeller Ventures — Propeller is an early stage VC fund investing in bold founders building at the ocean's edge.
Allium Engineering — At Allium, we revolutionize critical infrastructure with our innovative process for creating stainless steel claddings for steel construction materials. Our breakthrough rebar technology prevents steel corrosion, delivers exceptional value, and significantly reduces carbon emissions.
Coastal Assembly — Coastal Assembly is building intelligent, autonomous systems that protect shorelines against erosion and sea level rise while creating entirely new land for the coastal cities of tomorrow. Our mission is to solve erosion while making coastal land abundant - sustainably, at scale, and for orders of magnitude less than alternatives.
