Art Club with Kelly Hughes

​Embrace your own unique painting style! Kelly will guide us through a refreshing approach to painting with watercolor based on curiosity, wonder and discovery. Let go of control and experience the magic you can spontaneously create with this enigmatic medium.  We will focus on fresh, loose, expressive compositions that foster a carefree and joyful mindset through playful exploration rather than perfection.  

Kelly began painting with watercolor at a young age and put down her brush for years while she focused on her career as a UX designer.  After reconnecting with painting through a local art class, she finds that creating with physical media brings restorative joy and mindful balance to an increasingly digital life.

​Two sheets of paper and all other materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own watercolors and brushes if you have them.
