Heal While You Parent: Breaking Generational Cycles with Jessica Eiseman, MS, LPC-S
Being a parent is tough — especially if you still feel the wounds of your own childhood.
The good news: you don’t have to repeat the past. With the right tools and support, you can create a healthier, more connected relationship with your child — while also healing yourself along the way.
This free community event is your chance to pause, reflect, and learn new ways of showing up as a parent.
With guidance from a licensed therapist and the support of other parents who are in it with you, you’ll explore:
Why it’s hard to parent differently than we were raised — and how to shift those patterns with compassion, not guilt.
The most misunderstood parenting skills — and how to apply them in ways that truly strengthen connection.
Practical tools for everyday moments — so you can respond with more awareness, calm, and intention.
You’ll leave with fresh insight, concrete strategies, and a reminder that you’re not alone on this journey.
This event is 90 minutes long, with cameras on. Participants are encouraged to introduce themselves (first names only), and share as they feel comfortable.
