=============================================
You have a mission.
We’ll help you find the words to share it.
The journey to a TEDx stage often feels shrouded in mystery. Many people have a dream or a mission they are living out every day, but the process of "applying" or "preparing a talk" can feel inaccessible and hard to decipher.
TEDxLogan Circle is an all-volunteer run community event committed to changing that. We believe in finding and amplifying stories right here in DC. This workshop is designed to break down those barriers and provide you with the storytelling tools you need—whether you end up on our stage, a boardroom, or a community meeting.
Why Attend?
This isn't just an info session; it’s a masterclass in living your mission out loud.
Master the Art of the "Big Idea": Learn how to distill your life’s work or personal passion into a clear, compelling narrative.
Decode the Process: We’re pulling back the curtain on how TEDx talks are built and what makes an application stand out, making the process transparent for everyone.
Skills for Life: The public speaking and story-crafting tips you learn here are universal. Even if you don’t apply this year, you will walk away with the confidence to share your story at any future event.
The Roadmap:
The Application Blueprint: TEDxLogan Circle Speaker Coordinator Grady Lynn will walk through how to translate your mission into a formal application.
The Speaker’s Journey: TEDxLogan Circle Speaker Head Coach Kyle Schnoebelen facilitates a panel conversation with our 2024 and 2025 TEDx speakers on how they navigated the preparation process and how it feels after the TEDx stage.
1:1 Coaching: Pitch your idea to veteran TEDxLogan Circle coaches and speakers for real-time feedback.
