Fides Entrepreneurship Dinner W/John Studzinski
Welcome to Fides Entrepreneurship! (Sign Up Here to Our Newsletter)
On Thursday, April 9th at 7:00 PM, at our candle-lit seated dinner, we are honored to host John Studzinski, Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the global investment-management firm PIMCO, and Founder of the Genesis Foundation, Arise Foundation, and The Passage.
Born to working-class Polish Catholic Family, at an early age in soup kitchens, he held a conviction that faith must never be forgotten.
Over four decades, John has advised governments, institutions, and global leaders across Europe, the United States, and Asia. Yet alongside this professional responsibility runs a consistent commitment to human dignity, beauty, and presenceparticularly through the arts, care for the homeless, and the fight against modern slavery.
Brief words from John:
“We’re living in a world where people’s values are more and more ambiguous, and they are uncertain. People want to know what they’re dealing with – which is why they ask the question about daily Mass – whether in China, Tokyo, South Africa or Copenhagen. And when I say “Yes”, I go on to talk about the universality of the Church, what it is about it that gives me strength for my day, and gets me focused on what is important in engaging with them. It’s a very important anchor. Faith is not an accessory like a handbag or a wristwatch; it’s the very core of my being"

John’s witness speaks to a deeper reality: clarity of belief creates clarity of action. In a world marked by ambiguity, faith becomes an anchor—not retreating from responsibility, but orienting it.
Through the Genesis Foundation, John has supported young artists and sacred music, believing beauty to be essential to evangelization and human flourishing. Through The Passage, he has walked alongside the homeless for decades, emphasizing presence over abstraction. Through Arise, he has confronted human trafficking and modern slavery on the front lines, rooted in the Church’s teaching on the inviolable dignity of the human person.
