About Event

Join us for an AI Lunch & Learn with Benedikt Ströbl.

Benedikt has worked on agent benchmarking and agentic systems during his PhD at Princeton (Google scholar), later joined Y Combinator to build an AI forecasting system for global macro events in San Francisco, and is now joining one of the leading AI model labs as a Research Scientist.

He is deeply plugged into the San Francisco AI scene, has first-hand experience building at the frontier of applied AI, and is a great storyteller and teacher. Since he is back in Munich for only two weeks, we took the chance to invite him to Tacto to share his perspective on where AI is today - and where it is heading next.

In this session, Benedikt will cover:

  • How agents are built - a look under the hood at what is actually happening

  • The state of AI today - market map, closed vs. open labs, US vs. China vs. Europe, and competing approaches to AI development

  • Where AI goes from here - what is likely to matter next

  • SF insider takes - what people close to the frontier are currently paying attention to

Feel free to bring your own questions, we want to make this a real conversation.

As always, we'll take care of the food! To ensure we have everything ready for you, please RSVP by Wednesday, 10.06 (at least 2 days before the event).
